I did it!

It did it and so many people came so fast I couldn't handle it!
It wasn't the type of game I thought would take off so well... and isn't my best game...
But it's nice that I finally got a server that takes off in popularity! I can do it!
My personality doesn't hold it back!

It's so unexpected I'm not sure what to do... I'm letting feedback decide what becomes of the server.
For now I'm working on learning what stressed the server and community in this type of game...

This type of server isn't compatible with public usage so far... I need to figure out permissions because they don't function in a logical manner. 1+1 does not = 2.

I want more players then the standard 12 group now but the public can't be trusted to manage them selves and I can't sit in there 24/7... the 12 group alone stresses the server since I'm using a mod pack.

I've made mention of trying another mod pack but no one was eager to try something new again...


So far it's main features is some minor adventures in dimensions and building...
I have best of both worlds for the moment... Although server location is making it hard on some people..
Maybe I'll get a 2nd server???

I think I'll play test some new mod packs on my computer and invite people like I started this server...
See if I can phase it out and find a more permanent modpack people can agree on or that can more easily go public?

They seem real fond of FTB modpack... maybe I'll bring it back... Guess I got to compare packs and see what fits best... that new tekkit is a little interesting...  wish I knew more of it's features.... play testing I guess is unavoidable for next couple weeks...

Failure... The Corruption wins again...

I created a community server for ARMA 2 as my starting place.
1 month and a half has about passed.

I have no members after spreading the word of my community.
Trying to pull members from a corrupt community.
and even posting on my youtube...

Catastrophic Failure...
I expected as much since I did sorta rush it due to recent events...
But failure is depressing none the less.

I'll cancel current setup after this month fails too.
I need a game community I can thrive and actually get members in...
I don't think I can wait for a new game release.... or afford it...
but it's the next best idea I have... ARMA 3...

It supposedly comes out before the end of this year...
Here's hoping it's worth holding out for...

Seems pretty obvious now. I should run gaming servers and community's.
But I need money to get started and a game server people will pay for...
